As a law firm, we are aware that our daily work is also associated with CO₂ emissions – be it through energy consumption or the day-to-day operations of the office. Therefore, we have decided to actively take responsibility: As a member of the climate protection cooperative The Generation Forest, we support the reforestation of tropical generational forests in Panama – biodiverse mixed forests that sequester CO₂ in the long term, promote biodiversity, and strengthen local communities.

With our participation, we are creating 15,000 m² of new generational forest. Based on an assessment of our operational emissions carried out jointly with The Generation Forest, we anticipate that the amount of CO₂ sequestered by these areas will not only offset our operational footprint but will likely even exceed it. Nevertheless, we understand climate protection as an ongoing process: We regularly review our ecological footprint and adjust our commitment as needed.
